I’m running a bit late with my Pastor update. Sunday was a very long day but mostly good. I left the house about 8am and was home around 7:30pm. Pastor Chacha Boke invited me to speak. He is the one that has made our leather Christmas ornaments and things in the past. The church is in a densely populated area and there are lots of spiritual and physical needs. They are doing a great job reaching out.
The church has recently started a men’s group and i enjoyed a men’s fellowship with them Sunday afternoon.
Unfortunately, when I got back to the place I stay there was at least an inch of water everywhere. The line to the toilet broke and had been spilling water all day. Thankfully, the floor is concrete and I had pastor Chacha and his son Solomon there to help me. You may remember that Chacha was my student in Tanzania. His wife Mary was expecting Solomon when we were there and we helped her to the hospital when it was her time. I am thankful for God‘s provision.
I was very tired Sunday night, but I was so happy to hear that you had a great worship service. I look forward to being back with you this coming Sunday.
