Today it’s been cool and rainy. Sometimes the rain was so hard on the tin roof of the school that it was hard to hear. But everyone is thankful for the rain because the school raises most of the food that the students eat while they are here studying. Most lunches consist of cabbage, beans, what we call collard greens and rice ( or Ugali a very thick cornmeal..:a bit like very very thick grits that can be eaten using the hand). So the rains literally provide food for the students and staff. I took this picture after classes as I started home. The sky was staring to clear.
